Description

By following an inter-site approach, we seek to identify in which type of soil and climate, soil macrofauna influences significantly water transfers. The works is carried out in Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, India and France. In total, 11 experimental sites were set up. This work is based on an original method, which consists of incubating in the field soil columns built in the laboratory where the activity of soil macrofauna is controlled in the manner of “litter bags”.

(a) Soil bags installed in a plantation of Rubber in Thailand; (b) network of biopores developed in soil bags after 3 months.
