Comparing environments in India dominated by termites (semi-arid) or termites and beetles (sub-humid) and in Vietnam (humid), we see below that soil invertebrates significantly improve water infiltration in soil through the production of very specific tunnels and looks like that the more it rains (i.e. the more is the risk of soil erosion) and the larger is their impacts (i.e. the more they help the soil to resist to erosion)…
