Biography
I am a Mexican PhD student and my project is entitled “Shift in ant diversity due to climatic changes. Consequences on soil and water dynamics”.
The purpose of this project is to assess how ants, important and often neglected soil bioturbators, are affected by temperature augmentation, the strategies that they carry in order to overcome climate change and if these modifications have in turn an effect on soil properties and water dynamics.
My project is supported by National Science and Technology Council (CONACyT, Mexico) and by Environmental Research Institute (IRD, ARTS program, France).
